The RespEn Project aims to improve the competitiveness of micro, small and medium companies from the province of Pomerania, and the Swedish region of Kalmar through implementation of the strategy of Corporate Social Responsibility.
What the Project offers to companies is participation in workshops, study visits and cooperative business meetings; it also allows Polish and Swedish companies to become acquainted with the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility and possibilities for international business co-operation.
Good financial results. Innovative solutions. Conscious development planning - these are the advantages of the winners of the contest "Bright Futures" organised by the Pomeranian Chamber of Craft of SMEs, partner of the RespEn project. The contest gala, augmented by the Capelli Gedanesis concert, was held on 22 October 2011 in Gdańsk.
The education that provides small and medium-sized enterprises knowledge and practical tools to begin working with CSR issues and to further develop the company's CSR work is now produced. The program includes many practical examples and exercises in workshop form that will help to make the subject as specific as possible for the students.
IUC, represented by Annika Karpfors and Anders Mårtensson, was present as exhibitors and presented RespEn when CSR South was organized for the third year, March 15, 2012 by The Foundation TEM in collaboration with CSR Skåne and TEMS Environmental Network. The conference was aimed at those who work actively with CSR issues within the business community, NGOs, public sector, and research institutions.
